According to Cassell, consumption of milk after its expiry date might not harm you, but you will notice a difference in the taste of the milk as it must have lost its good taste. He went ahead to confirm that there is a likelihood of contracting ailments that are associated with drinking the expired milk. Though it is not advisable for pregnant women, elderly folks and kids to drink this milk because of their condition. It is still safe to try drinking your milk after the expiry date, but you can consider giving it a whiff before consumption.
